IM Victor Adler

Victor Adler an International Master, currently age 67, came to the USA in 1997 to the state of MN. That same year he won the MN State Championship and won multiple times since then. He now resides in Daytona Beach Shores, FL.
Victor started playing chess at 5 years of age, which was pretty early back then. He had very significant success in the former Soviet Union as a junior, becoming a master at an early age. He became a champion of Soviet Ynuon three times as a member of Ukrainian National team from 1960 to 1963. He was a student of the famous school lead by a former world champion, Michael Botvinnik. That school was attended at different times by many prominent chess players, including, Karpov and Kasparov. Victor spent many years playing GMs.
Since coming to America, Victor has been teaching chess to all ages. He has his own method and style of teaching, which incorporates the traditions of the best Russian Chess Schools. His unique technique lead to the great success, already producing three masters: Matt Dahl, Andrew Titus and Andrew Tang. Many of his students of different ages played in the World Championships in 2012, 2013 and 2014.
